I finally get to say it out loud: “I’m so crafty – I make people!”
Yes dear readers, another reason why it has been hard for me to keep up with posting besides a busy job was the fact that I was so knackered when I got home from building a baby!
We are expecting our first-born in January 2014!
Since I’m almost in my second trimester I am hoping I will have more energy to pick up where I left off.
See you around!
All good things come to those who wait
First of all, thank you for not abandoning me! I feel I have let you down these past 2 months. It has been – and still is at times – pure chaos at work with the enormous pile of correction work. But I have finally found time to work on something new and I hope to be able to bring you a blogpost on my latest project later this weekend.
So keep your eyes open for some great work – if I say so myself – soon!
I’m really sorry for not posting these past few days. The end of term is coming and I am covering all classes of one of my co-workers (who is still ill unfortunately). I have a ton of work to do at university and when I come home all I can do is settle on the sofa and dive into an episode of Oz or watch a film.
So please bare with me while I finish off this busy period and get back to sharing my finds and creations.
From May 4 to May 8 I will be away from home, working… well, I am accompanying 80 students from the University I work at. Which mostly means I get to hang out with youngsters in my favourite city!
I am already looking forward to my favourite cup of tea with scones (Chili Chili Bang Bang Tea @ Yumchaa’s in Camden Lock), coffee runs at Starbucks, browsing bookstalls and toy shopping in the world’s biggest toy store (Hamleys on Regent Street)! And don’t forget my much-anticipated visit to the Harry Potter Studios *grin*
I might be able to post something wonderful when I’m there but otherwise you’ll just have to wait till I return!
I was looking at my blog just now and I feel I need a bit of a change in looks… a makeover as you will. Since WordPress offers so many options I had a look through the most recent additions to the themes and found one I like – what do you guys think?
- Switch or stay?
- Use the Keep Calm posters with every post or use them as a themed post?
Let me know below!
Winter is doing some sort of tug-of-war with Spring to just hold on a tad longer. One day it’s snowing, the next the sun is shining brightly, to turn to below freezing temperatures in the daytime for this weekend. My body is clearly responding to it – after a couple of days with just a sore throat and some coughing, I woke up this morning as a My little Pony: a little hoarse… *sorry couldn’t steer away from that pun* Unfortunately, after teaching I have come home without a voice all together. Luckily I have my wonderful Miss Piggies sitting on the table!
This week is absolute madness! I am making 11 hr days, which keeps me from getting anything done in the creative department. Bare with me please for I will pick things up this weekend! Have a good week till then.
2013 is well on it’s way as we are about to enter week three of the year, which means it is finally time to go live with one of my “resolutions” for this year: to create an online platform where I can showcase my creative outbursts, as well as share my favourite crafty bloggers. Inspired by others I have now decided it is time for me to get cracking and take this show on the road. Welcome to all of you and I do hope you will enjoy what you see and read!
