@ Crispy Duck, London

@ Crispy Duck, London

Following the advice of a co-worker we settled for Crispy Duck in Gerrard Street and what great advice it was!
Hot and Sour chicken soup to start with (I think I was given tourist spicy because it wasn’t doing anything but leave a tingle on my lips), followed by Peking Duck as it should be! I’ve tried many restaurants but somehow in Europe a lot of places struggle to do Peking Duck the “traditional way” – with these sort of pancakes. The main course was a collection of several dishes (this amount of food was for 7 people!) accompanied by the usual rice.
A clear must visit address when in London and feeling like proper Chinese food!

London here I come!

London here I come!

From May 4 to May 8 I will be away from home, working… well, I am accompanying 80 students from the University I work at. Which mostly means I get to hang out with youngsters in my favourite city!
I am already looking forward to my favourite cup of tea with scones (Chili Chili Bang Bang Tea @ Yumchaa’s in Camden Lock), coffee runs at Starbucks, browsing bookstalls and toy shopping in the world’s biggest toy store (Hamleys on Regent Street)! And don’t forget my much-anticipated visit to the Harry Potter Studios *grin*
I might be able to post something wonderful when I’m there but otherwise you’ll just have to wait till I return!
Love, Jenny
